Philanthropy
We believe in the power of play and preserving play for future generations. Through our partnership with TerraCycle in the US, we’ve given our customers the opportunity to recycle their previously loved toys to give them a second life. In January 2024, we donated a new playground for the Boys and Girls Club in Long Beach, made from recycled plastic, including toys collected through our program. Thanks to our customers’ participation in our free recycling program, the children at this club now have an amazing space for outdoor play that will no doubt inspire magical play experiences for years to come.

On April 4th, we released our 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report. Guided by our vision of Reimagining Play for Future Generations, we continue to make advances across all dimensions of our CSR strategy to fortify Spin Master for the future and to ensure that we can sustain our legacy of enriching the lives of children and their families globally. We are proud of the progress we have made across our four areas of focus including:
Our People: Achieved 99% gender pay equity
Our Environment: Reduced Scope 1 + 2 emissions by 65% (target of 70% reduction by 2030 and net-zero by 2050)
Our Products: Incorporated recycled plastic into several toys including the Rubik’s ReCube, made from 100% recycled plastic and the Etch a Sketch, now made with 86% recycled plastic
Our Communities: Donated more than 513,000 toys to children and impacted more than 650,000 children worldwide helping them grow, learn and explore through play

Future of Play
The Spin Master Future of Play Scholarship Program selects at least eight scholarship recipients each year. We have now provided 32 aspiring creators, from equity-seeking groups and communities in North America, financial support to pursue post-secondary education in their field. These four-year grants allow these individuals to be a part of the next generation of creators, inventors, designers, and entrepreneurs in children’s entertainment.
Watch the inspiring story of Karen Jordan, a former scholarship recipient who has since joined Spin Master as a full-time employee. With the help of the scholarship, Karen had the chance to become the first person from her family to graduate college.
