This summer, creativity met community spirit in our Toronto office with a Paddle Design Contest in support of Campfire Circle’s Paddle Project. The initiative helps raise funds for kids and families affected by childhood cancer through the auction of one of a kind, hand-painted canoe paddles.

Participants in the Toronto office  rolled up their sleeves to create their own paddle designs for an in-office contest. The colourful creations were displayed around the office, where employees voted for their favourites. The winning artist would earn the chance to bring their design to life on a real wooden paddle for Campfire Circle’s Paddle Project.

After a close vote, Michaela Kwan, Creative Assets Assistant, took home the win with a Spin Master–themed paddle featuring illustrations of our latest toys and brands brought to life in a playful design. Michaela’s winning design was then turned into a real wooden paddle, donated to Campfire Circle’s annual auction to help support the health and wellbeing of children and their families.

The auction in NOW LIVE!  Check out Michaela’s paddle,  along with dozens of other stunning designs and see how creativity can make a real difference here.
