Internship Spotlight Meet: Paloma Roggeri

MeetPaloma Roggeri, a Future of Play Scholarship recipient from Sheridan College who also spent the summer interning at our Toronto office!

Originally from Brazil, Paloma moved to Canada to pursue her dream of studying animation supported by our Future of Play Scholarship, which provides financial support to aspiring creators from equity seeking communities across Canada and the U.S.

Since interning with us at Spin Master, Paloma has continued to grow as an artist by honing her animation skills and nurturing her love for colour exploration and design precision.

💬 “This internship helped me not only grow technical skills but also gave me motivation to work on my own creative projects. The supportive environment made it okay to ask questions, to learn, and to be curious.”

Looking ahead,Paloma dreams of creating projects that explore themes of emotion and resilience. She hopes to tell stories that shine a light for children going through difficult times. Her passion for animation is reflected in her attention to detail and her belief in its limitless potential.

🎬 “Animation literally means ‘to bring to life’—and that’s what it is. Everything you see is created for a reason. Nothing is accidental. It’s all a labour of love.”
