Centred on the theme that play is a fundamental human right, this global initiative highlights play as a vital tool for a child's development, health and well-being. Protecting and prioritizing play is a mission that sits at the very heart of what we do at Spin Master. To mark this significant date, we are translating our passion into action.

Here is how we are celebrating by putting play front and centre this year:

Making an Impact with The Toy Foundation
To help deliver the magic of play to those who need it most, we have made a toy donation with a retail value of $350,000 to the Toy Foundation. These toys will go directly to under-resourced schools, children’s hospitals, and communities, ensuring more children can have the opportunity to experience the joy and developmental benefits of play.

Hosting a Community Celebration in Toronto
To share the fun locally, we opened the doors of our Toronto office for a special community celebration. We welcomed our employees and the public to come together, explore our toys, and fully immerse themselves in the joyful spirit of the day.

Taking Time to Play Across Our Global Offices
Of course, championing play also means embracing it within our own spaces. Today, our offices around the world hosted a dedicated Play Hour. We encouraged our teams to step away from their desks, gather with colleagues, and celebrate the occasion by connecting and playing some of our favourite games together.
